Harvest Day

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

— Galations 6:9

Lord’s Acre Day

Originally started under the Pastorate of Rev. Curtis Tillman (1959-1963), "Lord's Acre Day", or "Harvest Day" is always celebrated on the second Sunday of November each year.

Members would pledge proceeds from one acre of their crop or one week's pay above their regular tithes and offerings as a way to thank God for the many blessings He had given them.

Today, this tradition of gratitude & giving continues. It is a special time when members come to enjoy a guest speaker, a report on the events of the past year, and a wonderful meal and time of fellowship from some of the best cooks in South Georgia.

It is also a time when we give our best to thank God for all that He has blessed us with and support Antioch so that we may continue to do God's work & bring forth a great harvest for His Kingdom.
